I started LeaderLift Assessments because of the impact that assessments have had on my life. As a young adult, I learned from a personality assessment that I was a “Charger” – I set a goal and worked hard to achieve it. That was empowering! Years later, my Birkman assessment confirmed this strength (my usual behavior is Birkman Red – yes, I’m a doer).
When I was serving in a non-profit in Thailand in 2009-2010, I sensed that I was on the cusp of a career change. During that time, I did the Clifton’s Strengths Assessment for the first time. As I poured over the results, I realized that I had strengths that were not being fully utilized in my non-profit leadership role. The results moved me to consider other options. This initial soul-searching eventually led me into a full-time teaching career at Trinity Western University.
Over the years, I have done many different assessments. Some have been more helpful than others. Yet, most of them have helped me in some way to move toward reaching my full potential as a person and as a leader. That’s why I started LeaderLift Assessments – to help people like you take the next step in your life and leadership.
Because there are many good assessments out there, we try to develop assessments that fill existing gaps or offer a more affordable alternative. All LeaderLift Assessments are designed with leaders in mind. I’ve had the privilege of serving in business, academic, and non-profit leadership for over 35 years. I bring this leadership experience to bear on every LeaderLift assessment. As an educator, it’s important to me that our assessments benefit from well-established research and educational protocols. In addition, we use a sliding cost scale based on family income, so that anyone regardless of income level, can take our leader-lifting assessments.
Due to our strong belief in leadership development, one-half of LeaderLift’s profits go toward leader-equipping and other people-helping initiatives around the world.
